The Weapon Customization System in Sudden Attack Zero Point (SAZ) lets you combine parts earned in-game to tune recoil, reload speed, and appearance to fit your playstyle. The Final CBT included more than 200 Exclusive Weapon Parts and 36 Shared Weapon Parts, and the Black Market — where you can trade earned parts and skins with other players — was also open. The same lineup carries over to the early access launch on July 30, 2026 (release date and early access guide). This article summarizes what is known so far from the official developer video and news coverage.

Weapon Customization System overview

On July 8, 2026 (JST), Nexon released "Build Your Ultimate Weapon!", a developer video introducing weapon customization and the Black Market. This is a flagship system that did not exist in the original Sudden Attack: the same weapon can feel completely different depending on its parts configuration, letting you build a gun that is truly your own.

The customization-related content available in the Final CBT is as follows.

ItemIncluded in CBT
Primary Weapons13
Secondary Weapons4
Exclusive Weapon Parts200+ (including various skins)
Shared Weapon Parts36

Exclusive parts fit a specific weapon, while shared parts can be used across multiple weapons. For weapon stats and recommendations, see the weapon list and tier guide.

What customization can change

Official announcements and media coverage explicitly mention the following three elements.

  • Recoil: parts change how the weapon kicks when firing
  • Reload speed: you can adjust how long a reload takes
  • Appearance: skinned parts change how the weapon looks

Official messaging says you can "adjust recoil, reload speed, and more to fit your playstyle," so parts affecting other stats may exist. We will update this article with detailed attributes and numbers as they are confirmed during the CBT.

How to get parts (during the Final CBT)

During the CBT, in-game events provide ways to earn parts.

EventReward
Daily loginSP (currency), Key Cards for opening Crates
Playtime milestonesSP (currency)
Match winsEpic Skin Parts Crate
Black Market eventEvent Tokens for completing missions

The core loop appears to be opening Crates with Key Cards to obtain parts. Since Key Cards accumulate just by logging in every day, CBT participants should make sure to clear their dailies. For the CBT schedule and how to join, see the Final CBT complete guide.

What is the Black Market

The Black Market is a system that lets you trade items earned through gameplay — such as weapon skins and parts — with other players. It is open during the Final CBT, and the intended flow is to trade for the parts you want, complete your gear, and strengthen your Loadout.

Black Market events are also running during the CBT, and completing event missions rewards you with Event Tokens.

Information not yet confirmed

The following items have no confirmed official information yet, so this article leaves them open.

  • Part attachment slots (barrel, magazine, stock, and other slot categories)
  • Exact stat changes provided by each part
  • The full parts rarity system (the crate name hints at an "Epic" tier)
  • Black Market details such as trading currency and fees
  • Customization changes planned for the full release

If you are new to SAZ, we recommend covering the basics in the beginner guide before diving into customization.
