2026 roadmap | Vampire Mode arrives in Season 2
Together with the Early Access launch date, Nexon also unveiled its roadmap for 2026.
- Pre-season: begins after the Early Access launch
- Seasons 1–3: content rolls out season by season, with each season bringing a new clan system, a variety of character skins, and new weapons and new maps
- Vampire Mode: the fan-favorite mode from the original Sudden Attack is planned for Season 2
This is the first time the return of Vampire Mode — a familiar favorite for veterans of the original — has been explicitly stated on an official roadmap. We will update this article as the start dates and details of each season are revealed.
How does "Early Access" differ from a full release?
Steam Early Access is a release format where a game is made playable ahead of its full version while development continues. For free-to-play titles, the start of Early Access typically serves as the de facto service launch, with subsequent updates following the roadmap. The timing of the transition from Early Access to the full release has not been announced yet.
Note that Nexon has not officially stated whether items and currency earned in the Final CBT will carry over to the Early Access version. We will update this article as soon as that is clarified.
